Here, PeaceHealth Medical Group is seeking outstanding Trauma/Acute Care Surgeons for Southwest Medical Center.

• Join an established, growing team of 8 dedicated Trauma/ACS Surgeons and 4 PA’s with plans for expansion to a full complement of 11 Trauma Surgeons and 6 PA’s.
• Shift based reimbursement with 12 hour shifts.
• Trauma/ACS team members who have a vast knowledge base and daily opportunity for collaboration on patient care.
• Our Trauma Service is among the top performers in the State based on trauma registry data with one of the highest rates of unexpected survivors based on ISS.
• We do not have an elective general surgery practice, but there are plentiful opportunities for assisting in elective General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery cases if desired.
• No research requirements, however for those who wish to pursue clinical research, there are available projects.

• 450-bed regional and community, not-for-profit medical center.
• Washington State Level II trauma designation.
• Two 24-bed ICUs.
• 2000 trauma admissions annually.

Qualifications and experience:
Seeking applicants who have:
* Board Certified in General Surgery and BE/BC in Surgical Critical Care
* Surgical Critical Care Fellowship trained
* ATLS Certification
* Washington State medical licensure (or ability to obtain)
* 2-3 years of experience preferred
